Today’s post is short, but I wanted to take a minute to share something with you that was recently shared with me. I found it so inspirational, and it was written to me at a time that I was feeling physically and mentally exhausted from parenting and life (we all have those days!).
A recent acquaintance wrote to me:
“In the morning, make a cup of tea. Boil the worries of yesterday, add a little happiness today, and filter it with a new day.
Take away negative thoughts and change it to positive thoughts. A positive thought attracts positive things.
And don’t complain about yesterday. Make a better tomorrow by making the most of today. Be grateful for this beautiful morning.Good morning – and have a great day!” – Miguel
Three simple statements, but such a powerful thing to wake up to. If you read these words and really take them to heart it can have a transformational effect on your mood and help you set the right tone for your day.
And starting your day with the right mindset can make all the difference in having a good day vs. having a bad day!
And since Miguel and I just met, he doesn’t realize just how much I love the first statement! I am obsessed with tea and adore the ritual of brewing a good cup! It’s relaxing for the mind and body, and bringing this ritual into my life has been one of the key components to helping me with my transformational weight loss.
